I try to be reasonable about what should and should not fall into the realm of political correctness, but it honestly shocked me to hear the characters on your show mock people with albinism in this way. I can’t shield him from every ignorant opinion or ugly word, but I can encourage him and give him opportunities to recognize the immense value of his own self worth.
But the real sting, for me, came from the character’s second line: When Arlo was just an infant, we learned that he had albinism.
